Mountain View B&B is situated in a quiet location, away from main roads, and is the perfect place to escape. We have ample off-road parking, and the local pubs are handy for refreshments.
With the M8 Dublin to Cork motorway easily reached (but not so near that you can see or hear it!), Mountain View makes an ideal stopping point on long journeys up and down the country.
Our address, telephone number, and email address follow. Please scroll down for a map showing how to reach Mountain View B&B from Cahir, otherwise some directions when approaching from the M8 are provided.

Directions from the M8:
From the M8, take the Junction 11 exit, then the first exit from the roundabout. Take the first right turn (signed Ballylooby) and continue to the fork in the road with a tree in the middle of the roadway. At the fork, fork left, then drive past the ruined church and churchyard and turn almost immediately right at the cottage. Continue for a few miles until you come to a T junction, where you turn right. You are now entering Ballylooby village and will cross a small bridge. After the bridge, turn left. Continue straight on until you see the Mountain View sign.
If you end up in Clogheen, you have gone too far!
